Bighorn Mountain, or He Sha, is the third-highest peak in the U.S. state of Nebraska. It is located in Banner County, about 9 miles (14 km) east of the county seat of Harisburg, in the Pine Ridge escarpment.[2]

The peak was named for the Bighorn Sheep that once roamed its flanks,[3] and were reintroduced in the 1970s.[4]

Many residents of the county have carved their names at the top of the peak; the practice dates back at least to 1887.[5]
